Addendum to my last post:
I’d say that the reason the amount of fanart of Woobie Cas has risen exponentially is because just about every single Cas fan feels so bad for him after 7x01 and his ‘death’. When your thought process is OH GOD, CAS YOU POOR BB LET ME LOVE YOU, the art you draw is generally gonna be on the Cas-the-Woobie side of the spectrum.
